
- Improve access to safe drinking water sources, improve access to and usage of point of use water treatment products, promote good hygiene behaviors and use of sanitation facilities as a means of reducing diarrheal disease in areas with recurrent emergency levels of malnutrition and around areas of improved water storage
- Develop and implement a scalable model for the delivery and financing of safe water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion to schools and communities based on lessons learned and innovative approaches that address the varying conditions found in schools and communities.
- To enhance protection of human rights for vulnerable women and girls both urban and rural areas by facilitating access to medical, legal and socio economic services
- To improve child health targeting (0 – 5 yrs) by empowering the local institutions and community to deliver essential child health services
- To strengthen the capacity of communities and local organizations to meet the needs and rights of orphans and vulnerable children
- To increase resilience to drought and flash floods while simultaneously increasing access to improved water supply and sanitation services, and improving hygiene behaviors, for poor and vulnerable populations in the ASAL regions of Kenya
- To develop innovative approaches to school- and community-based water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions that promote sustainability and scalability;
- Increase the Capacity of vulnerable households in Kenya to adapt to climate variability and change increased
